Description
The tilt-back design on the FTC-1670 solves the most common frustration with standard tire changers — not having enough room to work. When that column tilts back, the whole working area opens up and mounting and demounting become a completely different experience. Add a helper arm, turbo blast inflation, and a pneumatic push-pull locking system that holds everything stable, and you have a machine that handles 28-inch rims without any of the usual fight. The FTC-1670 uses a pneumatic tilt-back column that pivots out of the way to give maximum workspace clearance during mount and demount. The automatic push-pull locking mechanism holds the column securely in both the working and open positions for stable, confident operation. A helper arm is included and connects to the column for three-point tire push capability, which makes wrestling large or stiff sidewall tires significantly easier. Turbo blast inflation feeds directly through the machine for fast and powerful bead seating. The bead blast system uses a double-button design to prevent accidental activation during use. The central bead pressing system rapidly clamps the rim with the four-jaw auto-centering turntable, which uses a synchronized linkage structure for consistent grip from the outside in. The detachable swing arm head is precisely positioned for bead work and comes apart easily for maintenance. The working head is high-frequency quenched and hard chrome plated for exceptional strength and wear resistance. All rim-contact surfaces, including the working head, jaws, lever, and bead breaker, are fitted with protective covers and pads to fully prevent rim damage.
