FAQ

Ordering & Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and offer secure financing through Shop Pay Installments, allowing you to break up large purchases into manageable monthly payments.

How do I know my order went through?
You will receive an automated confirmation email immediately after checkout. If you don't see it within 10 minutes, please check your spam folder.

Where is Prime Shop Supply located?
We are based in New Jersey, though our equipment ships from specialized warehouses across the country to ensure the fastest delivery times.

General Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
We use a transparent, tiered shipping structure:

Standard Ground ($25.00): For small tools, accessories, and parts under 70 lbs.

Heavy Ground ($125.00): For mid-sized items like floor jacks and portable compressors (71–300 lbs).

General LTL Freight ($349.00): For heavy machinery like lifts and large cabinet sets.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. All orders over $5,000.00 qualify for our Platinum Free Shipping tier.

Residential & Home Shop Delivery
Do you ship to residential addresses?
Absolutely. We specialize in getting professional shop equipment directly to your home garage or private shop.

What is the difference between Commercial and Residential shipping?

Commercial Freight ($349.00): This rate applies to zoned commercial business locations that have a loading dock or a forklift on-site to unload the equipment from the trailer.

Residential Freight ($449.00): This rate applies to home-based shops, farms, or businesses located in residential areas.

Is a liftgate included in the Residential rate?
Yes. The $449.00 Residential Freight rate includes full Liftgate Service. The driver will use a specialized hydraulic lift to safely lower your equipment from the truck to the ground at your curb.

Will the driver move the equipment into my garage?
Freight deliveries are "Curbside Only." For safety and insurance reasons, drivers cannot move equipment into buildings, shops, or up steep driveways. We recommend having a pallet jack or a few friends available to help move the gear from the curb to your workspace.

How do I schedule my delivery?
Once the shipment reaches your local terminal, the carrier will call you at the phone number provided during checkout to schedule a specific delivery window so you can be prepared.

What if my street is too narrow for a semi-truck?
If your location has restricted access (very narrow roads, low-hanging trees, or weight limits), please let us know when ordering. In these rare cases, we can often arrange for you to pick up the equipment at the nearest freight terminal.

How long will it take to get my gear?
Standard items typically ship within 2–3 business days. For LTL Freight, expect a transit time of 5–10 business days depending on your location.

Heavy Equipment & Freight (Lifts, Storage, Compressors)
Delivery Logistics
How are large items delivered?
Heavy equipment ships via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) Freight. These orders are palletized or crated and delivered via a large truck with a liftgate.

Is Residential Delivery included?
Yes. Our flat-rate freight shipping includes Residential Delivery and Liftgate Service. The driver will lower the equipment to the ground at your curb or the end of your driveway.

Do I need to be home for the delivery?
Yes. The freight carrier will call the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery window. An adult must be present to inspect the gear and sign for it.

Damage & Inspection
What if my equipment arrives damaged?
Critical: You must inspect the shipment before the driver leaves. If there is visible damage to the crate or the machine, note it clearly on the Delivery Receipt (Bill of Lading) before signing. Contact us within 24–48 hours with photos of the damage.

What if a part is missing?
While we strive for perfection, occasionally small components can go missing during crating. Simply contact our support team, and we will overnight the missing hardware or parts to you.

Product Specifics
Vehicle Lifts
What are the concrete requirements?
Most 2-post and 4-post lifts require a minimum of 4" of 3,000 PSI concrete. Please refer to the specific product manual for the exact requirements of your model.

Can I install the lift myself?
While many of our customers are mechanically inclined, we strongly recommend professional installation to ensure the equipment is shimmed and anchored correctly for your safety.

Air Compressors & Storage
What electrical hookups do I need?
Portable compressors typically run on standard 110V power. However, stationary rotary screw or two-stage compressors often require 220V/230V wiring. We recommend consulting an electrician before purchase.

Do the cabinet sets come pre-assembled?
Most of our professional modular sets ship fully welded or in large sections to ensure maximum structural integrity. Some minor assembly (shelves, feet, or joining units) may be required.
