This is a fully automatic 4.0HP vertical design machine that handles passenger vehicles, light trucks, and heavy-duty box trucks without a setup change — controlled entirely by a joystick that makes the whole operation feel like second nature. The FTC-6700 runs a 4.0HP high-power motor through a sealed gearbox that extends gear life by keeping contaminants out and lubricant in — resulting in a lifespan several times longer than open-drive alternatives. The vertical design combined with full joystick control makes this one of the easiest commercial-grade changers to operate. The dismount and mount head works bidirectionally, a design innovation that brings a new level of flexibility to the truck tire changing process. The pusher block adjusts freely during operation and locks to the rim position with a built-in gauge for repeatable accuracy. The bead pressing roller also adjusts during use and comes with a scale positioning system that eliminates the need for repositioning during back-to-back mounts. A hydraulic motor drives the mechanical transmission through an enlarged oil line design, increasing motor speed and improving overall output efficiency. Unique aluminum-safe jaw protectors keep alloy and aluminum rims from taking any damage during the clamping process.
